Recipes - coloured powder mixes -
25-10-05, 12:40 PM
Hi geeklings
Just wondering if you'd be able to help me out. I'm doing a big focus on colour in the December issue of Professional Nails and wondered if any of you had any recipes for coloured powder mixes to create some stunningly funky nails? I'd love to publish them in the mag... ideally alongside a photo of the 'cooked' :-) nail!! Please email me at kathrynh@tradesexhibitions.com if you can help me out or drop me a pm. Maybe the GMG will provide a few too? Ta muchly Kat xxx Editor Professional Nails |

Hiya, thanks for your reply but I don't think I explained myself properly. I meant for colours, like pink, blue, purple, ruby red slippers, etc etc.
I'll have to keep playin cause I have found that most people are quite guarded over their new found 'secret' mixes! Oh well...... |

Acid Yellow Nails 5 scoops of Yellow Mosaic 2 scoops of White Metro 1 scoops of irridescent clear glitter Blue Sky Nails 5 scoops of Blue Mosaic 2-3 scoops of White Metro Half a scoop of Perfect Colour White Half a scoop of irridescent clear glitter Half a scoop of pastel blue glitter dust Orange Fizz Nails 5 scoops of Orange Mosaic 2 scoops of White Metro 1 scoop of Yellow Mosaic Half a scoop of pastel yellow glitter dust Bubblegum Pink 2 scoops of Perfect Colour White 3 scoops of White Metro 2 scoops of Red Mosaic Half to 1 scoop of Purple Mosaic Half a scoop of pastel pink glitter dust If your mix isn't quite bright enough, add more red until you've mixed our desired tone of pink. |

Thank you so much Laystar. I have been doing searches on here and on the creative website and havent been able to find any of these recipes!! I cant wait to try these colours out! if anyone has any other suggestions or patterns I would really love the input. I am not a very creative person unfortunately.
