Been awhile since I posted anything in the Articles section. Came across a couple items I hadn't previously published here on the site even though they had been published in Scratch.

Saying that, I'm not too sure if 'The Great Nail Abduction' appeared in Scratch. If so, it was under the name 'The Great Nail Defection' and it would have been the last article for my monthly column in Scratch. I had to pull the plug on the column as it just became to difficult to time manage.

Anyhooo - I put it up here along with part of an article I wrote on the Idols campaign we did earlier this year.

I also tweaked and activated some slight variations on the style themes. Basically, you can pick 1 of 4 different skins for the site. There are now fixed width (the default skin) and liquid skin options available in Blue and Purple. The liquid option makes the site stretch and shrink with the width of your screen which can reduce the amount of vertical scrolling when viewing the site.

To change your style, just use the combo box in the lower left corner of every screen.

When I change them, the width changes but the colour doesnt. What am I doing wrong? Or just being stupid?!

I am so pleased I joined this site. I read this article with relief! I have just started as a mobile tech after qualification. Had my first acrylic sculpting client and within 2 days all her nails had fallen off. I was horrified - things didn't look good for the future. Went back and put them all back on again and 3 days later the same thing had happened. Meantime I had read your article and explained to client that if they 'fell' off again, she should keep them all so I could complain to the manufacturer - surprisingly been a week and have heard nothing! I am sitting here with everything crossed - slightly painful I must say .
