Hi, new member -

Need advice from you nail techs, trained last year in LCN, bad course we all disliked tutor and most of us including me could'nt get on with LCN. Have moved over to Mercia as a stop gap until I can afford a better system, have narrowed it down to BIO sculpture and Creative! As well as advice on which to choose would also appreciate advice on the best way to use Mercia, some clients have had lifting after a week,

I cant speak for Mercia as I have never used it. Have you contacted them direct for advice?
I use both Bio and Creative but have found Creative cater for my client base and offer a wider variety of systems and their education is second to none. I have never looked back. If you are experiencing lifting, the first area I would look at would be your prep as this tends to be one of the main causes of lifting. Maybe if you can talk us through it then some more advice could be offered. If you felt that you didnt gain as much from you LCN course as you could have, did you speak to their head office to make them aware, as future courses could benefit. hth |

Sorry new to this. Did get advice from LCN and followed exactly as they said but no improvement. Mercia is much better and cheaper! I prep the nails, apply tip and shape, then use the primer and let it air dry for 1 min, apply sculpture gel and cure for 2 mins, wipe then buff and apply glossy top coat and cure that for 2 mins.

I offer both Bio and Creative and quite frankly wouldn't get rid of either. I haven't done Brisa yet, but intend to, but use Bio as a soak off gel and for the fantastic range of colours which is fab on feet and soooo popular at this time of year.
Completely different products if you ask me and both excellent. The training behind both us also superb and has enhanced my skills no end. You'd be very happy with either and could always add the other at some point in the future. |
