A belated hi!! -

Hi to everyone.
Have spent the last few hours having a good browse through the site. Some excellent comments, advice and really nice people!!! Got off on the wrong foot with someone regarding bad training, but with the mine of info here, I feel that I won't have wasted my money and things will get better. A bit about me- was very ill last year and decided to do something different with my life, although at 38, I didn't know if this would be as easy as it sounded! I enrolled at college to do NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy, then to try and earn some money, did the Creative L+P course. I am going back to college in Sept to do level 3. I couldn't have done any of this without the support of Steve, my hubby. I have 2 boys aged 17 and 8. My eldest boy wasn't bothered what I did as long as I didn't go near him in college!!!! Different when he wanted to borrow money!!! He says he is proud of me for winning student of the year tho!! So I am looking forward to chatting to some of you and joining in the forums. and thanks to Sassy for welcoming me!

A similar experience to me actually - and I have been part of this mad nails world for over 5 years now - I've never looked back and certainely won't go back! Long gone are the days of sitting at a desk in front of a computer....this only happens when I feel the urge to 'Geek'! Beware the whole thing is addictive - doing nails and this site! You have found the best place for great advice and support, it can also be a lonely and frustrating life as a new - working alone - nail tech. Isn't it great to have the opportunity to make a big change to doing something you really enjoy???????????? LOL xxxxxxxxxxx
