Hi there
Do you apply your Bond to the wrap making sure you cover all of the fabric? Look here it might help you. You can click on the pics to make them bigger. http://www.thenailgeek.com/preparati...han-white.html Can you also fill in your'e profile so we can see what products you use and training you have do etc etc to help you better. |

Yeah!
I always put a strip of fabric on, coat it in resin then activate it. Then apply a stress strip of fabric across the stress area then coat and activate that before putting a third layer of resin over the top. This is how I was shown at college. It doesn't make sense! |

Try it this way Huni,
apply your fibreglass stress strip and apply your fibreglass complete covering strip straight over the top.... pat into place , don't rub it, or touch it with your fingers....then apply one layer of resin and let the fibreglass do all the work, let it soak up the resin completely and let it air dry, do this on all 10 fingers..... go back to the first finger and apply a second coat of resin, do this again to all ten... then when all 10 are covered by the resin activate it, get the client to turn their hand over, with fingers drawn to wards the palm, the a light spray across all then fingers.... the resin will draw the activator to wards it like a magnet and will give you just enough activation.... then tidy the edges, shape the free edge and lightly buff with a 240 block, then apply one more layer of resin to all 10 fingers, use the same activation method as on the last step , but if you have a builder resin as well as your normal resin, use this instead of your normal viscosity resin and activate this by brushing it out with brush on activator. I find that a system that uses at least a 2 viscosity resin will give you the best result and helps you also to build a fab apex.... The most common reason why fibreglass shines through is not enough resin and activator applied to soon.... give the fibreglass a chance to absorb the resin completely, it will do the work for you.... Fibreglass due to its glass content will sometimes shine through under strong light, the glass contents reflects the light, this is greatly avoided by using a thicker viscosity resin as you last building application.. the resin is thicker and reduces the reflection.....
