I have been put onto this site by sassy hassy who I have trained in the past and is always on the ball when it comes to up to date knowledge and nail tec. I run an accredited VTCT training centre specialising in short, intensive courses (The Cottage Training Centre) and have been reading your comments re completing a manicure course prior to nail tec and must endorse the importance of this. There is some fairly strict new regs coming from HABIA shortly re nail tec and this will have a knock on effect for inasurance and codes of practice and you will definitely require recognised manicure certificates. It can only be good news for all of us that appreciate the care needed when making sure nails are in good condition before applying tips.

Goodness I came on the site and thought there's a name I know well.

Well I can vouch for Kim as I have done most of my beauty training with her. You will not come across anyone more professional or dedicated to high standards as Kim, she will be a great asset to the site trust me. Kim is one of those few VTCT assessors that will fail you without blinking if you're not up to par!!! When you pass a course with her you know you've REALLY passed and can show your certs off with pride (although we won't mention my waxing lol!). Which reminds me I must book in for my level 3 electrical facials assessment
