i have all my client details, etc and records on a computer, but i dont actually know how, cos it was a system all ready set up before i went there to do nails, so i pinched the hair dressers bits lol
its all on pc, none is on paper, its good for everything, except when pc crashes, id prefer client records on paper to be honest |

If you can get hold of a copy of the Nail Encyclopedia by Jackie Jefford it covers every aspect of setting up a salon e.g. Health and Safety regulations, Data Protection etc. I used it in my NVQ and it was invaluable. Still refer to it now.

Give me a shout if you want a hand on setting up your MS Access database as I have used this system for years and should eb able to point you in the right direction - there are some good tutorials available - I can try and find them and send you the links if you like.

Hiya,
I was reading the HABIA code this morning and it was saying in there about how you have to register if you are keeping records on computer etc. I didn't realise you had to do this either until i read that! |
