One of my clients has been on the Lighter Life diet for about 5 weeks. I hadn't seen her since she'd started it, but saw her last week. I've got to say, she looks totally different. She's lost one and a half stones already!!!
Its very impressive, although a very dramatic diet to follow! |

Thats true. Its ok for my client because she lives on her own, no kids or hubby to worry about.
Its really funny actually. All her cupboards were bare. She said she couldn't stand to have food in the house! |

I have a friend who has just got to maintenance on the lighter life diet, she ha lost 3 stone in 10 weeks, she looks amazing. But i probably would not have the discipline (but then if youare paying £66 per week, you would have to), you have to commit to 12 weeks. She is trying to snack on seeds and does not have any sugar or added fat, which is bloody hard to try and keep on top of, especially when my friend used to have 3 sugars in her coffee and eat choc for england. But she looks absolutely amazing and 10 yrs younger and she used to look fab before the diet.

Hiya,
One of my clients has also had great sucess to the sound of 5 stones and looking fab! one thing I have noticed is that even in really hot weather, her hands are always freezing! sometimes to the point where the product crystalises! I guess thats a small price to pay for a weight loss so great! |

I think the Lighter life diet is fab when all else fails. It is really expensive,£66.00 a week which is another reason why my friend couldn't continue doing it.I think the hardest thing about the diet is keeping the weight off once you start eating again. You have to get a doctors permission to start doing this diet and have a minimum of 3 stone to lose.I know if I had a weight problem and if nothing else worked for me then I would find that money somehow.I do love my food though so I think I would have to move onto my own little desert island or the temptation from hubbies and childrens meals would kill me.I dont know how Lighter Life justifies charging so much for a weeks worth of pkt food. They were charging about £50.00 then they put it up last January. It's a ludicrous amount that a lot of people just couldn't afford, especially if you have a family.

i know a girl who is on it she really missed eating food cos its all about the shakes. i think with n e diet if you start to diet you have to stick with it forever otherwise you'll just put the weight back on! my advise would be work out n eat heathly nooo naughty stuff n the weight will drop off be alot cheaper!! might take longer but its more healthier that way!!!

The slim fast diet you actually have shakes, soups etc and I think one balanced meal a day, with Lighter life you dont eat anything other than the shakes, soups and I understand they have bars that you can have that replace one of the soups or shakes. My friend said they tasted like cardboard, but everyone has different tastes.Water plays a huge part in this diet as well. You have to drink several litres a day.I personally would say that from all the info I have heard it is definately not for the faint hearted. You are not even aloud a piece of lemon in your water. No nibbles nothing apart from the shakes etc.I have heard the Cambridge diet is very similar but only costs about £30.00.I dont know anyone who has lost as much weight on this diet though so cant really comment.

she lost about 5st then went on holiday put 2 back on and has put what i would say is the rest back on....i saw her on the diet mon/tue/wed then by thurs she was eating a massive sandwich and an egg custard! i dont see the point she had done so well and now shes back at square one! if you like food its not a good one i couldnt live on powders n soups, i couldnt do it thats prob why my cloths dont fit lol |

Lighter life is apparently astronaut food, it has all the vits and mins. You have to be very disciplined though as you need to drink at 6 pints of water and 4 lighterlife meal replacements and nothing else except herbal tea or black coffee.
It def helps those who need to loose weight. Deb379 |
