It's heading into winter here that happens fast! I like to bake and would like a recipe or two for scones, not the american fry bread kind, but a true scone, I wouldn't mind a recipe for clotted cream either, my grandmother had some but she can't find them, so I figured there may be some one who would take pity on me and send one. I'd like to try a real scone with my tea this year!! Please pm me with the recipes so we don't clog up the site with recipes

Can you make you own clotted cream? I thought it was to do with the rich grass, from the red soils, that our good old Devon and Cornish cows eat lol!

I already made the jam...strawberry, peach and apricot have been done this year so far...

Make sure you rub your fat in so the mixture resembles very fine breadcrumbs, makes a big difference.....hubby told me to say that, he's a chef!
