I had just written a lengthy reply to a thread and when i went to submit it ...it would not let me, a popup kept popping up say that my message is too short and needs more than 3 digits.????? i tried and tried and in the end I had to loose it.....it has happened a couple of times to me now.

I am not sure whether the fault is my end with my computor or your end, what do you think?? thanks

The only time I have come across this is if I have quoted someones message and then only put a question mark - it will not allow it - never had it with an unquoted message.

I would imagine that it's your end Sandy...
I've just tried a quick reply with just a question mark and I couldn't post it.

Did you by any chance write your reply on Word and copy and paste it? just wondered as when I've done articles etc I always do them on Word and then end up writing them out in full as the copy and paste from Word doesn't seem to work, even though the text is there on the page the site doesn't recognise it!!!

I can only imagine that like Fiona says that you have posted your reply within a quoted post and therefore it's not recognising what you put. I've done this more than once!

If it happens again you could copy it and then repaste it when you have the problem sorted.

i did the same thing yesterday quoted a reply but put my message before the signature of the the person i was quoting, so i moved it underneth and it went ok.
