theatrical make up? -

wonder if any of you geeks could help? I have a friend at collge in wales who is looking to get into theatrical make up and prosthetics and is looking for some advice.
I havent really a clue on this stuff, who to contact or how to get a foot in the door type of stuff and wondered if you guys had any advice?

if you do a search on google for make-up academy such as delamar they offer courses for special effects. Newcastle & south tyneside college do theatrical make-up but sorry I cant give any mpre help.

I mentioned all the makeup schools I rate in a thread a while ago: Delamar, Jemma Kidd, London School of Makeup, Greasepaint, Glauca Rossi.
They're all in London. hth
