I have just seen, yet ANOTHER advert where I recognise the background!
They film alot of stuff where I originally grew up, and often recognise things.

The advert in question in the motorcyclist accident, asking at what point did the driver see him etc.. I am sure its Courtlands Drive, Watford. (please correct me if I am wrong)

Sometimes I get a warm feeling and then chuckle because they have changed the name plaque on the road so obviously in some things, like Eastenders for instance.. which the majority of 'outside the square' shots are filmed in Watford and surrounding areas..

I shout it out then second I see it, and now my partner gets great pleasure in mimicking me saying "oh,.. I recognise that tree"

Does anyone else recognise things not so far from their neighbourhood when watching TV or is it just me? PMSL!!

there was a lot of stuff filmed in clacton-on-sea when i grew up (eastenders when pat and a few others had gone on holiday etc)and we loved seeing it on tv but now clacton is a ghost town compared to back then so nothing realy gets filmed there anymore

They do a tonne of filming out here in Montreal. I live just off the island in a suburb,next to an indian reserve and further out.. (30min down the road), mega farm land.

Apparently, the movie "Bon Cop Bad Cop" was filmed in my home town and can't wait to see it!

And also a film with Kevin costner, but can't remember which one

but yeah, it's cool to see one's town on tv hehe
