what sort of pressure is being put on you sweetheart?
I remember when I'd not long qualified, everyone thought I'd be a kickazz tech and I wasn't, I was deflated and fed up because the nails I was doing were basically crappola. It isn't easy and it does take time, and, if you're anything like me you'll still not be satisfied 3 years down the line and always be looking to improve your techniques as you'll find fault with every set of nails you do from a manicure to a full set. That's normal in a tech who wants to be the best they can be, keep plugging away and you will get there in the end. hugs to you, keep your chin up xxx |

As in...... errs Ayr o'er err!
As Sandi says don't be so hard on yourself ...it can take time. Have you considered doing a 1-2-1 with your Educator...I see you have done some training with Starnails. You really cannot beat some hands on training. If that is not available...maybe it is time to change to a company that can offer you more backup and advanced training courses. It is so easy to get a bit isolated when you have done training and are then out on your own... I always recommend to my students to keep in touch with each other & still give each other support after the course...or at least log on to this fabulous site!! You got some good replies and help on the Hairdresser thread..so don't let that knock your confidence. ![]() I have now seen Mrs Geeks comment...and yes feel free to pm me!! |
