ive read a geeks jounal tonight, and im appalled at the negativity about on the site at the moment. this used to be such a happy place to come to vent or ask questions, and get help and is still mainly the case, but geeks that are feeling the need to leave the site because some mindless, halfwitted (probably new) geek felt it would be a good idea to slate a long standing, well respected geek is beyond me.... no wonder most of the orignail geeks are leaving, when this is the responses they get. makes me wonder where the happy site has gone to. IF you cant say anything nice - DONT BLOODY COMMENT.

Wow, I don't know where you were looking (thank God) but please don't let one person dissuade all you long-timers from checking in all the time! We Newbies really need you! I for one LOVE this site and have gone on every day and learned something every time I sign on. You girls are the BEST!

ive been a member of the site since august 04 and there isn't a day go by that i dont log on to the site, but think that the people who come onto the site and get rude or personal with someone are really out of order and need to learn manners . we do all have our own opoins and thoughts but if they are going to offened people isnt it best to keep them to ourselfs.
i dont post that many replies but the ones that i do i would like to think that i do it a friendly and constructive manner.

its so sad when long standing members leave the site after some thoughtless person says something rude.

i will one of these people that will always be on here.

I just think it is so sad that a few recent threads giving good news, HAPPY news - that in this bloody awful world we live in is far and few between - gets upset by some sad minded prat thinking it's okay to pee on someone's parade with horrible negative comments.

This site is my lifeline to the outside world as I work from home. I'd be lost without the cameraderie that IS the geek site. So if your only contribution is to go around being nasty then either sod off to some other site for nasty people or learn some manners and contribute in a positive and constructive manner. Remember, you reap what you sow.

Thie site has been great in the short time iv been on here aswell.Struggling to find my way around the site still but love reading all the bits of advice on here! Upto now the replys iv had have been nice n helpfull so thanks to you all who helped me zena x

I for one would like to know who this or these people are because I am sure it would be better to ban them then spoil it for the majority

The moderators know who is the culpret/s .. they should be named and shamed then maybe it would make them think twice about being so down right horrible for the hell of it.

If the boot was on the other foot I bet they would be the first to complain!

I take it is horrible annonymous rep messages that are left.

I think if this is the case then we have some saddo on her that must be getting kicks out of upsetting us all.

I think the moderators need to identify thewse people and chuck them off!

Who ever did this has very ugly insides . Perhaps they should go away and see if they can do something to make them a bit prettier.

However one good thing to come out of it all is that Amb can see how much everyone thinks of her, and the one who sent her a nasty comment can see what everyone thinks about them too
