How to create threads and posts

Threads? Posts? confused about which is what?

Simply put, a thread is a new 'topic' placed in a forum and a post is a reply. When you browse the different forums, you are browsing the different threads that have been created and all of the replies are posts responding to the thread.

Here are a couple of mini-movies that demonstrate how to make new threads and new replies. Please note that they were done last year and the site has evolved a bit (i.e. its no longer thenailgeek.com, its thesalongeek.com and some of the forum names have changed) however the process is the same.

Thanks its my 'Smooth Jazz 97.5FM' voice that I used to hook Mrs Geek. Think that one worked OK -its just now she wont talk to me unless I speak like that

My plan was to create a whole plethora of movies on how to use the site, but sadly time runs away!
