Yolanda, I'm still waiting for them to iron out the kinks in IE6. If your 'pooter is still working correctly...leave well enough alone.
As far as the wrong product code being on your pc, I really wouldnt feel competent enough to offer advice as to what you can or cannot do. It is my opinion however, that their response would be: "If its pirate software that you're using, get rid of it". I dont think they would be overly concerned about the fact that you yourself did nothing wrong. |

I don't like the "look" of IE7. I downloaded it at my work, but have stuck to IE6 on my own computers. It works well for me, so I'm sticking with it!

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT download IE7!!
It's full of bugs and causes all sorts of connectivity problems to the net, among other things. If you do a search on the net, you will find LOOOOOOOOADS of complaints about it. I just ditched it, and I have a new puter with all the bells and whistles..... Wait. Same applies to the MS Vista crap. Wait for the 2nd edition when they'll have worked out the bugs. As said.. if it aint' broke, dont fix it! If you're having puter problems, it's not IE, it's likely something else. Hope this helps. ![]() |
