Anyone know of any dog breeders? -

Hi All.... and before anyone asks im not buying one for xmas! I have been thinking for a while now about buying a Cavalier king charles spaniel I have been in love with them since I first saw one when i was very young! Anyway does anyone know of any reputable breeders or any contacts for buying one of these little treasures. Im in the northants area. please PM me . thanks

The only 2 places I would look would be the Kennel Club who will have a list of breeders and the other place would be the king charles rescue centre. Just about every breed out there has dedicated breed rescue and quiet offten there is nothing wrong with these dogs, the most common reason for a pedigree dog needing a home is that it is a breeding bitch who is now to old to breed and the owners want to give their middle aged dog a loveing home for her retierment away from all the bustle of a breeding kennels.
Please be careful Paulette, this breed like all pedigrees is not with out inbreeding problems and they can be heart breaking, its why I always go to the kennel club, yes you pay more but I feel thats a lot better then having to face huge vet bills or even putting your puppy to sleep because of ill health from bad breeding. If you do get one though, you have to let me come round and give the puppy a cuddle ![]() |
