I have eventually found a dress for my xmas party and love it. However it is slightly shorter than I am used to wearing and would normally wear fake tan. The dress comes just above my knees and I hate flashing my knees. I want to wear my dress with my long black suede boots. The dress is cream and black. Can anyone recommend a colour tights or holdups that will give my legs a natural tanned look. I am fair skinned so will be having tan on my top half. I really dont want to wear black or nearly black as I like the tanned look but as mentioned hate my knees.

I think you're right not going with black, although I wear black alot, sometimes it can look a bit much.

Have you tried going to a good department store that sell them silk holdups, they are lovely to wear and come in a range of colours.

Grab an assistant, thats' what they are there for and try some colours gainst your skin, i mean you don't want to go too brown (or orangey) if you are fair.

These silk holdups are fab, something subtle but with a bit of shimmer.

Oh! Don't get too hammered though they snag quite easily.
