Thanks sassy, I have now added a barrel shot to go with the side shot. so comments on the apex would be much apperciated.
The red mark may well be a little over filing I do need to practice my lower arch in sculpting. I usually wear them a little longer as they do make my fingers look a little sleeker but kept them shorter as I'm going to paint them red for the weekend. |

I agree with Sassy on the lower apex- the other thing I noticed was that your free-edges are fairly thick on the 2 middle fingers and thumb- file them towards you, looking down the barrel, and taper those edges so that they are "scratch-able." the bulk of your product needs to be in the apex, tapered thin around it. Did you sculpt these or use white tips? If you sculpted them out, your smiles look pretty darn good! It look slike you filed some of your smile away on the left side of the nails. What type of enhancement is this? Did I miss that somewhere?

looking down the barrel you definitely work thicker to the right side, and your apex may be slightly forward into zone 1, but it's hard to tell when you're only looking at a 2D image!

These are sculpted. When I do a set from scratch then i can get the freeedge pretty thin but when doing a rebalance I seem to end up with bulky nails. Even when I remove most of the previous product. I added glitter to the white so it may apper that I have filed the smile away in the picture where it has caught the light. I'll get my file out later and taper the freeedge and then repost a pic. Thanks, |

Sassy, Thanks for the comments, I can see this now it has been pointed out to me. I think the apex is a little into z1 as well. Rebalancing is definatly something I need to get to grips with, seem to always end up a little thicker than the original set. |
