Can anybody please help me?
Well its not actually me its my mum, she will be 56 soon and is desperate to get rid of her wrinkles and improve the general appearance of her skin. She has tried and thoroughly tested all the lotions and potions, everything from Oil of Olay to Creme de la Mer! So she has come to the conclusion that something along the lines of an acid peel, broken capillary removal etc would be more beneficial in the long run rather than spending a fortune of these creams that simply do not do the job they say they do! For her anyway!

Can any of you recommend a treatment for wrinkles and broken capilleries etc. Many thanks in advance xxxx

Lazer treatment or red vein treatment using electrolysis is very good for broken capillaries.Lazer is very expensive but is usually a one off treatment that is very successful.The red vein treatment using the electrolysis equipment is very good also.It quaterizes the vein.Its a very expertise field and the therapist needs to have been carrying out I think 5 years of electrolysis treatments before she/he is able to go onto do red vein treatment, training.Its very specialist.

For the wrinkles,I would say it would depend on the severity.If they are very fine I would recommend Bio Ultimate Gold or Platinum.This is a non surgical face lift treatment.

They also do a more intense treatment now,where products are used to help even more with the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

The treatment,improves blood supply and collagen production.It needs to be done as a course over either 6 or 12 treatments.Once the course is completed it is then recommended that the client have a monthly maintenance treatment.

I have seen some fantastic results with my clients having this treatment.

I would suggest getting your mother to have a consultation in a reputable skin clinic or beauty salon.They will help her decide what the best course of action would be for her specific problems.The outcome must be realistic though.

Unfortunately sometimes if the wrinkles/lines are deep then other treatments may be necessary.It really would depend on what results your mother desires.HTH

Thankyou so much you have been very helpful. I will have a look through the yellow pages in the new year then carry out some research, the only deep lines I would say are the kind of 11's between the brows all the others are fairly fine I would say!
I think the idea of a non surgical face lift is something she would definately be interested in.

ive seen some good and bad acid peels, but the good are really good, get her to have some consultations but get recommendations too

Botox is fantastic for lines on the forehead, furrows and crowsfeet. She'd need fillers for the lower face. The next step would be a chemical peel and last resorts a face lift.
