for applying liquid foundation a brush with synthetic bristles is better as it does not soak up as much liquid as a natural bristle brush, therefore making yor foundation last longer.

Yes i agree and the MAC Foundation brush is snythetic but the others are natural bristle which is better for most other applications - i didn't realise the question was specific to foundation application - sorry

Well I hope I can apply my new foundation with this new brush of mine....£25 for the brush, got the primer too after reading up about stuff like this on the skin geek.....I like to wear foundation as I have crap skin but have never got the 'home' results I desire.
See me tomorrow going to work with big brush strokes down my face! |

i tend to then dab it in the middle of my forehead and blend out, then my nose and chin and finally dab some on my cheeks and blend out. it feels weird the first few times you use a brush but when you see how flawlessly you can blend your foundation its hard to go back to anything else!!! if you have any blemishes you can use a tiny brush for concealer or you can get a little extra foundation on the tip of your finger and pat it on. |
