Hi
I'm new to site and plan to do spray tan training with Spray Tan Cubicle Co with the view to do spray tan mobile part time. I've been researching quite a bit for equipment and which spray tan to get etc. I was thinking about going for the minimist and a pop up booth and have found that US site Tampa Bay Tan have a booth, and minimist for approx £300) Has anyone bought from them before? It seems to be the best price I have found so far. The only thing that concerns me is I'm not sure what back up you would get if there was any problems with the equipment? I just want to be sure before I take the plunge............. Grateful for any thoughts/advice |

it does sound like a good deal but you do need to consider import duties and such.
i bought a few items from the usa (not from ebay) and they were sent via ups, i had paid all the necessary fees and when the items were delivered i had to pay a further £55 before the delivery man would give them to me!....so its worth ringing the customs dept and checking! i think the import duty is around 1.7% for stuff like this and then vat on top of that. |

Before you take the plunge and purchase from overseas, I would like to say that if you have any issues with the equipment it is costly to return it to the States. There has been some equipment from the US which has incurred loss, damage / problems during or prior to shipping and this is taken care of by Tantrick before it is sold in the UK.
When you purchase your products and equpment from Tantrick, we are here to train you, support you and help you and to give you the 12 months warranty on your machine. There is no delivery man asking for extra money when he delivers your parcel to you either. Please give me a call and I can let you know what packages we can offer. With kind regards Mandy x |

Also if you are buying from the states you will have to remember that their current/plugs are different to us here in the UK and they may not be adapted to work here. I would buy from a reputable company here in the UK and then if you do have any problems, they are more easily and quickly sorted.
