Ok here goes.... My 8yr old SON has just come down and told me he has run me a lovely bath i told him when i got in i was really cold, so off he trotted .. thinking nothing of this i start geeking.. 5 mins later he came down and said "mummy i have ran you a lovely bath" i go up stairs to find not only has he ran me a lovely bubble bath (using his own bubble bath) but he has put all his ironing away (without being told) AND got ready for football training (without being told)
And the worst thing is all i could say was "what have you done".. to which he replyed.."well you said you were cold and after football the other day you ran me a bath a made me a hot drink and it made me feel loads better.. thanks mum" how bad do i feel now is it wrong that part of me is still waiting for him to ask for something..

OR he's had a small wakeup call, and is sincere about this.

Kind of like men that way They do strange things for strange reasons sometimes.

One day, hubby came home... all sweet and more helpful than usual, urging me to relax etc.
Turns out... his boss was complaining about his own wife.... how easy she has it, does nothing, etc......real spoiled witch, who doesn't appreciate how lucky she is. Lazy bugger too. Stays home, kids are in daycare/school, and she has a housekeeper, so has nothing to do really. But she's a miserable cow all the same.
Then hubby realized what a 'prize' he has in me.

Could be something like that, ya know?
BUT definately keep your momma-radar tuned in

How sweet is that, at 8 years I would guess hes a little sweetie, now if he was 12 upwards I would say he is definitely after something. Make the most of it. xx

I was in hormone hell a few days ago and being a real Bi**h to everyone, when my hubby decided he was going out I just grunted an OK at him and went on being a mardy arse.......well when he came home he had Hargen Darz ice ceam and 2 bunches of red roses for me.!!!

he is a good boy and very loving.. it was just such a sweet thing for him to do.. i mean he does love his cuddles and things

Sometimes, they really do amaze us. My 13 yr old daughter does sometimes but it is often shortlived until she redeems herself again, lol.
