For your 3rd attempt I think you've done very well... what did you use?
Closeup the smile lines need more work, but from further away they look ok, however, as this is your 3rd ever set of L+P I'm pretty impressed They're not all uniform in shape/apex but they are in length. You seem to have pretty red/sore nail beds, be careful with you filing sweetheart, it's something we've all suffered with at some point or another, it's hard to get the right filing technique when we're doing our own nails. Do you have a nail trainer you could practice on? They make a fantastic training aid, I use mine quite a bit to perfect techniques and to try out new ideas. With more practice I think you'll be producing very good nails, keep up the good work |

Thanks for your comments. My nail beds are pretty sore from the last attempt, which was dreadful (before I had a days practical). My fingers were killing!
My smile lines aren't great are they, but you should have seen them before, they were straight across! haha! I just need alot more practise, but the problem is I need more hands to practise on, as I'm doing a home learn course!! I'm using Creative Perfect Colour. I find them brill, and not too runny. I've bought a cheap practise hand, but when I try to soak off the l&p it goes really weak. I think I'd better invest in a new one! lol! The only thing is with the hands is that the nails don't grow, so I can't practise infills or rebalancing. Thanks again for all of your help and advise, it's really appreciated, Heather |
