When I wax anyone I only ever think of the actual job i'm doing - I don't even think about what actual part of the body I'm waxing. So I wouldn't worry at all about your hairy legs!
Good luck! |

I specialise in brazillian waxing and would certanily not judge you when you walked through the door.
If the therapist is professional she will only be intreasted in the area that is being waxed, a true brazillian needs concentration to be perfect. I provide clients with underwear im not sure what other salons do. Seriously dont worry about what the therapist thinks if they have this attitude they should not be in this industry. Thanks |

I wouldn't worry about the hairly legs... that's not what your tecnician is looking at. As for a thong, I guess it depends on your technician. I have my clients strip completely bare from the waste down. Underwear or disposable thongs only get in the way.

I'm glad someone else said they have the clients wear nothing. Is this a canadian thing? Probably not, but I was originally taught to have the client in disposibles and I hated it. I'm on my own now and I never have them wear anything. And if their legas are hairy its just an upsell to getting a leg wax!

Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine & the therapist won't even think twice, honest!!!
I find it easier if the clients wear nothing for Brazilians etc.... think its client preferance though as some can be a little shy! |

i usually have my clients wear a thong for brazilian/hollywood, but like huberella said, it depends on your therapist. However, if you feel more comfortable with them on let them know, brazilian waxes are bad enough without getting stressed about somebody looking at your bits!!

i dont think your therapist will be bothered one bit! if it make u feel better just make a joke and say you will have to mind the fluffy legs im not getting them done till fri! she will understand you need to grow them...i have had people say this to me in the past i just show them mine lol that usually puts them at ease as mine are always inbetween waxing! eek

hi got my brazilian done today not to bad but i still have quite a few hairs left some around my bum and in between my legs plus the landing strip which was left is abit to wide and not straight so when i get it done next time should i mention this as i did want to be mostly hairless apart from a small landing strip but apart from that the pain wasnt bad at all i had two therapists that done

not the worst ive heard of, but still... I make sure ive got every last hair. I leave my client to check thoroughly once im finished and i wait just outside the room. if theres a problem, even one hair out of place, i tell them to call me back in!!! =] |
