Can anyone advise me on a good spray tan product, I use su-do at the mo in the salon but I might be going Mobile and want a good, light compressor and a product that is not so expensive but still just as good, also what are these pop up tan tents like? i used to have a bad experience trying to put my kids pop up tents away in the summer(fighting with it in the garden my neighbours had a right laugh ), are they just as bad to fold up?.

any advice would be appreciated.

The pop up tents can be a right laugh, i bought a set up at the weekend, tent,gun lotions etc everything i will need except the training lol, i got my bf to spray tan the bottom half of me last night just to test the colour of the lotion, he did a good job on the legs but my feet look like they belong to someone else of asian desent bless him, we had no instructions on how to fold the tent back down but i found the instructions on here somewhere and it was fine, just need to do it a couple of times in a row and i think i will have it sussed, im sure if i can manage it and im only five foot tall so couldnt reach the top of it, you will be fine hun, by the way it is all from the spray tan company, the lotion is a lovely brown shade no orange, it is called siennasun, it has a website but i havnt visited it yet, it is Sienna Sun

I use the Tantrick mini mist and solution. I can't fault it at all.

The machinery is superb and the tent is excellent.

I highly recommend you do the training course though. It covers everything you need from how to tan to caring for your machinery which includes putting the tent up and down!!! It does take some practice and a few laughs along the way.

Thanks for that I will have look later,is the compressor light? I've been trained to do the spray tan its quite easy with a full body gun (the one with the cup on top)I don't know if you can use this type of gun with a small compressor, i don't know what I will be like with a different gun. Did your product have a nasty smell the next day, I always find sudo smells like peanut butter the next day (ok if you like peanut butter) but even after the shower i can still smell it.

I was trained in sudo but i dont find it smells of peanut butter! if anything mine smells of coconut lol

I tend to use the dark bronze more than the bronze or clear.

That is the sort of gun I use and I use it with a small compressor.

I can't say I've noticed a nasty smell the next day. I certainly don't smell of peanut butter!!!

It smells great when it is first applied and even after the 5 hours when you can have a shower but the next day even the kids say it smells of peanut butter, I have had a few clients say the same its a great product though, I always use the dark tan, and it is streak free (i think the gun helps).
Just need to find a cheaper one for when I go Mobil.

What is a mini mist? Is it a compressor/hvlp or what?

The Mini Mist is a HVLP and an excellent mobile machine.

I can vouch for the portability! Its great if you are short of space too!
