Go to the Control Panel (press start, settings, control panel). Click on Regional and Language options and there should be a drop-down menu on the box to change it to Uk english. Have fun!

I am glad that you asked this, as mine is also in US English and I can't for the life of me work out how to change it.
BTW just incase any of you think that I missed the post above me I can't find the region/language drop down |

Rachel, try this instead: To change the language used for menus and dialog boxes
Notes
If you still can't do it let me know what version of Windows you're using and I'll ask my husband - he's a computer geek! Sarah |

In that case, I'm lost then. You can add words to the dictionary on the spell checker though, so that may help. When it comes up with what it thinks is a wrong spelling but which is actually the word that you want, click on the 'add' button. Hope that makes sense!
