I really understand u! Well I had a baby 13 wks ago but have been off work for one year now because I had sick leave before my maternity leave.. and I am bored outta my mind! But am planning to go mobile in the fall! THought I still hate thr thought of having to work again lol, but its gotta happen sometime.
But meanwhile I am extremely bored and tired all the time because I don't do much. Because Im tired I don't want to do anything and not doing anything makes me tired, understand? lol its a visious cycle! but ya i find anyways I like lost my social life with ppl at work, etc... so it is kinda lonely! If I was like you and havinf baby #2 I would definately try and take up a hobby for entertainement. |

It is hard - being a mother to young babies and children is probably the toughest job in the world, it's a 24/7 commitment with no financial reward. But it offers so many other rewards - the first smile, the first tooth etc, no money can ever give you that satisfaction. Fill your time doing baking and homely things that you will never get the chance to when you are back at work.
It can be lonely, very lonely - but there are other people like you who want to talk real stuff and not baby talk ... I was one of them too! You just have to go find them - they are probably walking their babies in the park right now! |

It's funny how we long for different things isn't it? - I wish I had the time to be bored - I would love to have a bit of time just to chill out.
Your littluns will soon grow up and life will become more active. You have a great tool at your fingertips - the internet and your computer. You can look up things you are interested in - chat to people give yourself a project to do the list is endless! As Sass said there are lots of other mums who feel the same way - try and motivate yourself and go to some of the places they go. A smile is always an ice breaker and you can always ask about their baby - that's all you need to embark on a new friendship. The people who you like if they have something in common with you, then generally a friendship will flourish. Love n snuggs to you all Deb xxx |

exactly!
yes i have been spending a lot of my time working on my website for my mobile business I will be starting in the fall. I will eventually let ppl look at it but it is still in the works so I'm keeping it secret for now snugglepuss - that is funny! I used to wish I had time off to do nothing and now I am like Im bored! I used to work 12 hour days 5-6 times per week and I was always tired and wanted to do nothing! and now I can. I do enjoy it though! I just feel like people think I;m lazy cuz there is nothing much I can do right now lol My FIance keeps reassuring me that they don't think that though, its expected with a newborn |

I graduated from aesthetics, nail technology and aromatherapy in 2004 and have been doing them since, however I have been on sick leave (when pregnant) and then now maternity leave (which we get for 1 year here) so in the mean time I am not working doing nails. I still do family and close friends when they want (secretly, since you aren't allowed to earn more than $100.00 per week on maternity leave or they will deduct it from your earnings)
how about you????? |
