I have just put a thread in and went to make a cuppa, came back and it had been moved, WHY

was it in the wrong forum...?

I anot sure it was about my new flyers for pepps to have a look at, I put the thread in Nail geek. Would this be right.

It was not a specific nail question so it was moved to chit chat.

I know what you mean, sometimes i nip off to do something else and then a bit later i log in again and ones that i was interested in answering have dissapeared. Where do they go?

If you read a thread and then click on new posts it disappears - bit like the shopkeeper in Mr Benn! If you want to see everything then click on "today's posts" which is on the quick links drop down menu!

We do move threads to put them in the right forum, but don't have the time to keep pm'ing people about it. Just keeping the site tidy for everyone!!!

No threads actually disappear....they may get moved by the Moderators to the correct forum, but they still show up where they were originally posted with the word MOVED beside them.

A lot of threads get posted in a day....maybe ones you have seen have simply ended up on page 2 or even 3 on a busy day...do you ever check back?
You can also subscribe to a thread if you want to keep tabs on it. HTH

But do you mean when you have read them they dissapper,? cos if you don,t see them again it could mean no one have responded to them..
Or should i go back to being on a different plant

I moved your thread to ChitChat because as Fiona said it wasn't directly nail related, ie asking a question.

I did an article about subscribing to threads, thread subscription will help you if you see a thread you want to follow but not necessarily reply to at that time.
