I tried to change my user title to pink and it didnt change and now i've lost my geekmolians - boo hoo!

It looks pinky purple to me - what colour was it before - the problem with a lot of these changes is that it does depend on your browser as to how different it shows up - I am using Firefox and it shows a pinky purple colour.

I've checked your profile in the moderator control panel and it hasn't picked up the colour, so maybe it didn't recognise the colour you chose??? I'll donate you some more moolies and then do it again and type this in #FF00CC (they are zeroes) and you will get the same pink as mine. if it doesn't work again then I guess it's broken at the moment!
