I have upgraded again to premium geek and it said that the membership renews automatically as it had a star next to the amount. Unsure about things that automatically renew as I always like to do things manually myself after an accident a year back and something else automatically renewed without my knowledge. What I want to know is how do you cancel the automatical renew if I should need to do so.

I would imagine drop a line to Sam and he could sort it out if you wanted it cancelled.

You can also cancel via Paypal. There should be instructions on the email they sent.
