I posted this in the premium topic but got missed I think. I tried to pay for my renewal with out using Paypal but it wouldn't accept my card as its registered on my Paypal account. I cant pay via Paypal because like many over on Ebay (apparently) I am having a problem with Paypal so I thought I was sorted when I saw I could pay with my card with out using Paypal but it seems the two methods are linked after all.

Is there another way to pay? I want to renew my sub

Yeah you just follow the links and pay with a card without using Ebay .. this is what I have done.


Hmm... then again, I think I actually used Hubbys card... could you ask your partner to let you use his? Or give someone else the money?

Not quite sure I under stand. I mentioned Ebay only because I'm having problem with Paypal that I know from other users on the Ebay forums that they are too. The problem when I try and pay (viat the links) is that although you can pay the subs with out being a Paypal member it looks like its Paypal that handle the transaction and they linked my postcode and card number and put a message up saying I couldn't pay with the card as its registered to a paypal account. I dont know though why that should stop them accepting the payment. It looks like then that I cant renew until my account is unblocked, I'm almost through the latest batch of security steps so hopefully wont be long. God I hate Paypal
