Whenever I start a thread or join a thread I keep getting email alerts when there are other posts. How can I get rid of this please my inbox is huge

Go to USER CP.... and fiddle with your settings somewhere.... sorry I can't be more precise!!

Untick a box that is ticked...

If you click on quick links at the top of the page and then choose edit options, it will be on that list where you can chose to receive email notification or not. I hope that makes sense!!

Click on Quick Links then Edit Options, scroll down to Messaging and Notification, where it says Default Thread Subscription Mode select No Email Notification, that way you'll still be subscribed to threads but they won't be sent to you by email, you'll be able to catch up with subscribed threads by clicking on Quick Links, Subscribed Threads.
