Cool crystal100 - 06-06-04, 07:51 PM

Hi, just taken a CND foundation course in Marbella, Spain. When doing my training I did not have a problem with airbubbles in beads, now all of a sudden they've appeared in the overlays I've been doing! What am I doing wrong? Also, the weather has hotted up down here and I've found the L&P setting too quickly preventing me from smoothing. What's the best way to store the monomer in really hot weather? Would be grateful of any advice.

Re adjust your ratio, to compensate for evaporation....
Do some test beads, prior to Service on a non absorbant surface...I use a peformance form for this.............
Monomer should always be stored out of direct sunlight............
Geeg will be able to give you loads of tips as she lives in your climate zone lol........Sunny Spain !!!!!! She has never had problems using her L&P and is a Fab Teacher xxxxx

Thanks Ruth. Will give it a go, funny though, I seem to only have bubble problem with the clear powder which I have only just started to use.

Just like to apologise for putting this on Site Assistance. It was my first time on the forum yesterday and accidently put this in the wrong section. Now au fait with the website sections, so know where to post notices from now on.
