ouch dove?? i think thats where the prob is.. i just learnt that tanning not taken on the top half can be down to hair washing products still on the skin..
a more experienced tanner will probably know.. but as i just finished a course i was told about the danger of dove! bit like pantene on the hair apparently! |

Tinks, I would want to see both ladies first before I made any decision on what to do.
Could be a number of things though. Maybe they didn't exfoliate when they said they did, the Dove is a big factor in tans not taking but also could it be the wrong time of the month for either of them as this can have a huge impact on the spray, us hormonal women and all. I doubt whether it is your technique, as you said you have been spraying for 3+ years so know your product and know you do a good job already. |

I know it's nothing I've done personally, I wonder if the solution is darker than usual but then it's fine on me and other clients
In fact I received a text from a client saying "Thanks for the tan it's the best one I've ever had" last week I just don't get it? One of them is a 15 year old girl who is distraught, it's gone orange and patchy? They are on their way up to a party miles away I can't get to them before they go Should I contact the tan solution company to check with them? |

Just a thought Tinks, have they showered yet, was talking to someone yesterday who had done a tan and it had gone patchy, but turned out she hadn't washed off the guide colour.

If they haven't showered and thought they would shower when they got where they were going - yeah!
I wouldn't offer a refund yet as you don't know if they are pulling your plonker or not. I would ask them to come and see you when they get back so you can evaluate it for yourself. JMHO |

Just spke again to the lady she said her daughter has brown underarms a white chest stripes on the back of her leg, I mean what has happened? The technique I use is the same for everyone and I spray all areas twice - Im at a loss and have offered to refund her.

Oh dove not good! How silly is that though you tell them not to use it but they go ahead, your obviously telling them not to use it for a reason! I think you should explain to them that its the dove which has caused this problem (basicly tell them its their fault not yours) And offer a partial refund as this will draw them to come back to you again (on the terms they dont use dove again) hths xx
