I was wondering if anyone can reccommend a good magazine that's make-up specific, and is based in the UK? There used to be one called Warpaint but I can't seem to find a recent link to it so I guess it's not available anymore. I know about make-up artist magazine but that's america based. I want to be able to keep up to date with the latest UK trends but to be honest most ordinary magazines and the way they go on and on about celebrity body sizes does my head in, and I just can't read most of the mag, making it a waste of money.

Any ideas?

Yep, alas Warpaint ceased to be about 2 or 3 years ago now; it was produced by Reed Business Publishing who also produce Professional Beauty. I used to have a sub to it, but they switched it to a half price one of Professional Beauty when they stopped doing Warpaint, but there was hardly any make-up related stuff in Professional Beauty so we didn't renew the sub after that.

This is a fab UK-produced mag, Illusion Magazine Publishing Face and Body Art - but may be a bit specialist for you as it caters more towards face and body painting...

yes, that is a bit too much that way. I do love face & body painting, but at the mo I feel like I need a bit of a freshener in what's new in make up. How about a website that keeps you up with the uk trends? Anyone?

I always find M.A.C pro website good for new trends.
