Been looking into training in eyelash extensions, particularly interested in nouveau. Was just wondering if anybody offers this service and does ok out of it?

I offer this treatment to my clients
it is an expensive treatment so you need to be able to advertise in well to do areas to get much custom for them,
to be honest i don't get as many clients as i would like for this but my salon is in a working class area,
i charge £100 for a full set and have them on offer at the moment for half price hth

Hi there, I offer this treatment, and love doing it, but to be honest it is definately not my most popular treatment. As already said, it is quite an expensive treatment, and i find people tend to want it as a one off, and dont want to keep taking the time and money to keep topped up. I did a few wedding fairs to advertise, which got me some brides, but as soon as weddings over they dont have them. I would advise you to do a lot of your local market research, as it is quite expensive to train in and get the products and you dont want to waste your hard earned money. Good luck xx

Thanks for that guys, Ive definately reconsidered and dont think Im going to train in this yet, maybe if the market changes but we will see. Also, there is a lady who lives near me who offers noveau and there obviously isnt enough custom for us both to compete for.

I am doing my training 23 June so I'll tell you how it goes if you like. My main concern is I might get bored of doing it but perhaps not! Who knows. I have been doing a bit of asking around and I have had lots of ppl saying they would love it and as I am currently sporting them I am getting a lot of attention, but we'll see! Lx
