I tried for a while to get a copy of Lori Nestore's waxing DVD from America (having first seen part of it when I did my brazilian training a few years ago) and I was glad to find that it is now available in the UK from Wow Factor.

I would really recommend it for anyone who does as much waxing as me(90% of my work). It is a great tool to use and refer back to, in addition to training of course!

It is full of excellent tips and it covers every area of the body too, which is fantastic as every other DVD I have of waxing is only specific to one area.

I have to agree.. its been an inspiration to me and my waxing career too.

All I can say is it is the most fabulous, informative DVD I have seen. It has helped me no end with my waxng techniques etc. The lady is is a LEGEND.

I know it is a lot of money to part with but well worth every penny for anyone who waxes.

Must be one of the most expensive DVD's around! I think i need to save a few pennies.

It is Mat but if you buy it you won't regret it.

If you book onto a training course you will be paying at least £100, quite often double this amount. With this DVD (you get two of them - almost 4 hours of training) it is done in real time...no artyfarty .. as it is. Its like having your tutor (one of the best in the world) permenantly in your home as you can watch it over and over ... when ever I watch it I pick up something I missed on a previous view.

You don't gain a certificate of acreditation with this dvd.. but you do gain inspriation and confidence to become an excellent waxing therapist

Definetly you can pay £30 or more just for a DVD on brazilian waxing and this DVD covers everything. A great tool along with training!

I agree it's probably a good DVD but £116 is muchos expensive!

I would rather pay the money on a real live trainer and get hands on experience with someone who will tell me if i'm going to do something wrong and hurt the client!

Oh and get a shiny certificate for my wall.

Can't we just set up a salongeek blockbusters and one person buy it and rent it out for £3.50 lol. Then we all get to watch it without shelling out a fortune!

I have myself have this dvd and it knocks spots off any other waxing dvd on the market out there today.

Personally I would not even loan mine out as I class it as a valuable training tool that is part of my ongoing training. 4 hours of precise tutoring is on this dvd and it is very indepth. Yes it is not the same as going and having some 1 on 1 but it is the next best thing.

There are lots of tips and techniques on this and I know that a few geeks that have this dvd have improved there waxing technique because of this and its giving them the confidence to do intimate waxing as well.

obviously - and neither do I, however when it comes to intimate waxing some techs have a fear over it thinking that they could not possibly to it , and once watching one being done and seeing how clinical it is rather than s"(*ual they have decided to book on a reputable intimate course to expand there service menu.

Well I glad I had both the training and the DVD .. as training is quickly over and a lot to take in in such a short time. The dvd helps on a daily basis if necessary to remind, clarify, encourage, inspire, and just to generally help with my technique. I know all the best waxers including Kimmi and Andy have both had the benefit from this DVD to enhance their technique in some way. I would have never started intimate waxing on a client without specialist training first. This DVD isnt just about intimate waxing.. its the full body and male waxing which most people are not shown at college.

I think it be littles the expertise of the US WAX QUEEN to pass this DVD from one person to another instead of them paying for their own copy. If you want cheap then go to Blockbusters.. if you want quality then you will have to shell out the cost of the dvd yourself. You wouldnt afterall ask Kim or Andy to do free training for you would you?

I do not expect anything for free! As i said before i've heard this DVD is very good all i said was i felt it was expensive and i personally would rather have one to one training but then thats my preferred learning method.
