I was taught very similar, i think the main problem is that there is normally loss of skin sensation to people with diabetes,therefore they cant tell you if the wax is too hot or if their skin has become uncomfortable during the treatment etc.
Also they are more prone to infection and bruises etc. Most clients who have diabetes know they are not to have wax treatments or know they would need a medical note before hand. Hope this helps |
