Question Just enrolled at college for my teaching certificate - 13-08-08, 12:22 PM

Hi guys, just wondered if any one else on here has done the introductury to deliver learning course and if they enjoyed it, or if u have just enroled in one. I start in sept and then will go on to do a two year training course which will give me my teaching certificate. I am so excited as will then be able to teach waxing and maybe even beauty in general

Congrats on making this move but i wouldn't do the 2yr teaching qualification aswell the 7303 should be enough.

Most companies will look for ability and enthusiasm over teaching qualifications. I've did the city and guilds training course and many Navy based training courses and they are great on paper but ability is Waaaay more important.

So i would spend those 2 years in your salon working your butt off perfecting your skill rather than in a classroom, If you have the standard teaching qualification then why waste 2yrs getting more x

I did the 7303 this year, to be honest at first I thought it was all a bit irrelevant to the beauty sector, but about 3 weeks into the course I got my head round it and then really enjoyed the course I was actually surprised at what I came away with and it has made a difference to my training sessions now, I feel a lot more prepared and organised and also
effcient.
Hope you enjoy it hun! xx
