Make-up advertising/prices - 10-09-08, 08:16 PM

I am currently sorting out some price lists and wondered if anyone can give me a rough guide on
1)advertising a make-up, what do I put? it will be make-up application
2) make-up lesson
3)day/evening
4) false lash if wanted

please help as I don't know what the going rate is, I had a look at near by places but they don't price list.
I thought maybe £20 for make-up?
Cheers
Debbie

Hi Dingbat

I am only starting out myself - but I am only offering a make up lesson for 20 per hour, I am also doing it with their make up. I know sounds weird but I taught make up for ladies who had no confidence last year and I discovered the majority of these people have masses of make up which is fantastic stuff that they don't use.

I figure that I am spending time talking about prep etc and I will do hand outs and have a facial diagram for them to write on.

Not sure that this is of any help you. I get the impression the price ranges from 20 - 35 maybe more for bridal.

I charge £55 for bridal for the day and the trial which is quite reasonable i think for my area, i think my special occasion/evening make up is £18 and i think my lesson is £20.
