Advice needed!! - 26-09-08, 01:21 PM

Hi every1

Just need a bit of advice ....

I have just opened a nail salon (only been open 1 month) it has been doing quite well but for personal reasons I am wanting to rent it out. I have no idea what the going rate is for this or how to go about it? It is only a small shop in a lovely village and has a lot of potential? Wat would you recommend?

Hi Hun,
You need to give a bit more info.........how many nail desks ? Or s it a nail bar ? How many seats ?
What other treatments do you do? Or is it just nails?
Think of what it costs you at the moment to keep it open, if you are already paying rent, you need to clear that + the other expenses, eg electric, rates, phone etc.
Have you got a client base...........presuming not much yet as only new salon............or did you bring a client base with you.
All these go to sorting out a fair price for another tech to take over.
Hope this helps.
Best of luck.
Lotsa luv x

There is just one nail desk in the shop at the moment but there is space for another or space that could be divided off for spray tanning or something similar. I have just been doing nails at the moment tho. My rent is really cheap but the main thing I am worried about is that I wont get any1 wanting to rent somewhere without a set client base, as the ones I have had in the shop are all new ones as I worked abroad before this.
