Partition walls?? - 05-10-08, 07:48 PM

Hi there,
Does anyone know the rough cost of putting in a partition wall in a shop to make a treatment room?

I'm planning my salon and am trying to work out costs

It depends on the sizes of the rooms and how many rooms you need.

You have to pay for the timber, soundproofing/insulation and mdf. then theres the door frames and doors and if you require any electrical points.

The best thing to do is get three builders/carpenters in to quote you.

I paid £300 but my daddy did it lol!!! if you know a handy man it shaves a lot off the cost lol!

xx

Me and my partner did mine.....We bought the B&Q DIY Book for £10.00..It shows you step by step in their.

To be honest my partner is no good with building work but we managed fine with the book...we just got some one in to plaster them.
