since the new site has gone live, has anyone else noticed that the pages are loading very slowly? I'm on broadband and always found it to be very quick, but now it's so slow it's driving me mad!

Mine seems fine. How long has it been playing up?

had no problems at all before - slow since the format changed. I have changed my page view to the full page width (as per the option at the bottom of the page)- maybe that's the problem...

mine is set to full width too. hubby said maybe it's a coincidence that ur pc is going slow now (he's a pc geek!). try clearing your cookies/temp int files.

No problem here. There is very little added code, most of it is colour changes and images (which your browser should cache so it isnt always downloading them). Other than that... like I said... not much has changed in the page sizes.

Mine is loading up slow too.

I have just made some adjustments that should speed things up a tad.
Another point worth mentioning is that the server is busy doing heavy calculations at this time of night (night for meanyway ) and can make the site slightly more sluggish during that time.

Hope my adjustments help a tad.

Hi Dianne, you are not on your own cos mine has gone slow too,i am also on Broadband,, have to say it is even putting me off coming on because i am getting sooooo frustrated waiting for the pages to load, it may not have anything to do with the site being changed i know but i will have to sort it out cos i love the site, but at the moment it takes a lot of patience,which i don't have
