Hey Donzie.
A thread is a discussion. The title of this thread is 'Help with site'. A thread contains at least 1 post. You started this thread and everyone has created posts to respond to it. So the good news is that you have already kind of mastered this (You started a new thread and have posted a reply to it) The 'Reply' button at the bottom of each post is called the 'Quick reply' button. Clicking this on any post you wish to respond to makes the page jump down to the 'Quick Reply' box at the bottom of the page. There you can quickly make a post without going to a new page to create your message. The quick reply is like a cheap and cheerful reply box that is faster for most users who are not going to use a lot of formatting in their message. If you want a lot of formatting, click the Post Reply button (or 'Go Advanced' when you are using the Quick Reply box). That will take you to a new page with all of the formatting options. Try checking out the FAQ or the Help section for more info. nJoy |
