Hi all, just recently got my credit/debit card machine.....and i have just been to the bank to pay cash in via the machine, and it doesnt look like the money from this weeks transactions is there? How long does it take to arrive in my account as i always thought it was instant....?

It depends on your Merchant service ... Streamline it is usually three days. However you need to do a Reconciliation at the end of each working day for the transactions to be processed.

Give your merchant services provider a call and I'm sure they will sort it all out for you.

we are with streamline and it takes at least 2 days to land in our account sometimes 3 hth

im with hsbc and can take anything from 3 to 5 working days to be cleared in my account

I have a mobile machine and mine is normally 3 days.

It can't really be instant. The card is authorised at time of payment ... the funds aren't immediately transferred at that point. The money has to be transferred between banks etc to get to you.

I had problems when I first got my pdq, I can't remember exactly what was wrong, but I seem to remember they were trying to pay into my bank every quarter and not immediately (three working days)... a simple phone call sorted it out

I totally agree! It should be instant not 3 to 5 days - It's not going by bus!!

Hi its depends on ur usage but you can get it for as little as £10 pm but it is a minimum spend of ten pounds, even if you dont take any money, so your bills would never be less than £20pm. You do pay a bit higher interest on Credit C's @ 2.75% but Debit C's are 40p per transaction.
When you start to do more business the rental goes up but your % comes down. HTH

2/3 days is normal - its a cheek but true!!

Ours show up the next day but that took some haggling with HSBC. If we can draw on it, that is another story.
