Really struggling with wording for my web site -
27-10-09, 08:11 PM
i have delayed launching my bridal makeup web site because i just cant seem to be able put good copy together for my home page
i have written it and re-written it a hundred times, and i just dont seem to be able to get it how i want hence my other post re: wording for an advert of all things! i would willingly pay someone to put good copy for me together following my outline requirements, dont know if such a service exists .. the rest of the site is ok, it just photographs and price lists how did you come about with the wording for your web sites? blush |

i changed my site loads of times until i was happier with it.. since i put it out 4 months ago.. as people start ringing and you see other sites you'l get ideas and you'l know what you want it to say info wise etc...
once its published you can always go back and edit etc.. if you have the function to change your site when you want.. so dont stress if its not perfect now.. |

sam - maf
i wish i was a mac pro mua, lol .. i take it you're refering to my other post about kids pamper parties - i meant to say mac pro member, which i guess is pretty irrelevant anyway as i use mostly jane iredale and bling on the younger girls .. although i use items from my kit inc mac and bobbi brown on the teens, which they love im already a member of maf and was planning to ask the same question on there as everyone is always so helpful and generous with their advice, but thought id test the water on salon geek first - everyones web sites look so stylish and professional, i just want to get it right before taking the plunge with paid advertising - i know at the end of the day its my makeup skills that count, but i think so many people go by first impressions, i just want my web site to come across right .. im looking forward to the day i submit my "completed" web site to the mua directory and upgrade to a pro chat member, lol leonnib i keep changing things and tweeking the wording then going back to my original version, perhaps i need an admin package like yours so i can change it to my hearts content (and drive myself mad!) kim im confident in what i do and how i present myself in person, but im not the most articulate person so i guess im worried i wont come across as very professional on my web site going off to tweek my wording some more, lol and will post some sections im struggling with in the morning thanks everyone, you've all been so helpful xx |

Are you a member of the PrePro area on MAF??? pm me on there if you're not, and I'll upgrade you. You can talk privately on there, but also run ideas by the other members, who are effectively your client bank and target market, even if they're not in your area, they're the people who 'buy' our services after all!!!
