OK chaps, I'm thinking of taking the first week in January off, not to go on hols but to just not see clients. I could do a massive spring clean in the salon, tip out those cupboards which end up getting cluttered, etc.
Last January we had the snow and most if not all of my clients cancelled as they couldn't actually get to me, so I don't really a proper idea of how busy this week potentially is. (The year before I was still building my client base so I can't really use that as a benchmark either!) My question is, how busy is it "normally" between 2nd and 8th January? Are you packed out, just steady, or is it as dead as a dodo? Thanks awfully! lynne |

I sometimes do a promotion on skin brightening facials and detoxifying body wraps etc to boost January treatments, but generally speaking it's people coming for their monthly maintenance treatments anyway.

I am the same, January is usually busy, but February is a bit quiet. I dont do any promotions, just seems to have a spill over from christmas and new year rush I think. For me, I would have a week either end of Jan or beginning of February instead.
