Could you take a quick peep at my website? -
18-10-10, 05:49 PM
Hi All,
Would you mind giving me some feedback on my website? I have made a massive amount of changes since launching in 2 years ago, and wanted to know your thoughts? ANY feedback will be taken on board and in no way seen as a bad dig, just would like to know how other therapists and peeps see it Thanks Carly x |

I really liked it, very easy to find the information. Maybe you could add some more pictures of the salon or 'after' pics of manicures etc, just because I'm nosey and I'm sure other people are too lol!

Hi,
Thanks for your comments. The facial page layout I am working on but good to know you picked up on it. The sign at the front of the salon we are getting done as we speak so I am really looking forward to adding that onto the front page and also, I am updating the beauty room photo as I have also made a lot of changes there as well. Thanks Carly x |

Hi,
Thanks Emma, that is really good to hear. I just CANNOT get people to look at the website - Any good ways of advertising, I have tried and am still doing: Sign writing with the website on the back window of my car The web logo on all business cards / price lists All around the salon. Any help with promoting the website? Thanks Carly x |

There are a few threads on here one by Lynne Baker "ways to promote your business" & I think one by Ruth Mills on "how to advertise your website" or something like that. They are really worth a read with loads of great tips.
More ways to promote your business How to get your business on the map that appears on the top of a Google search There are loads of free listing websites which you can advertise on make sure you add your details to all these, of the top of my head I can think of; www.freeindex.co.uk , www.yell.com Every now & then I do an online only offer. You could say to clients, make sure your check the website every now & then as there are special online offers that arent advertised in the salon. Have you also got a facebook group or page, these can help too. Hope that helps x x

Hi,
Again, thanks for your comments. I know a really recent thread about Facebook advertising, but I am always worried about people, being childish from school, just calling to make a fake appointment and turning away the genuine ones when you can't fit them in? Anyone else had this thought? Thanks Carly |
