Evening geeks , I put a previous thread on here over the weekend about a new client wanting there nails done over the bank holiday weekend and whether I should of turned my phone off over this period.I have now gone to this client and had her booked in for 6pm .I arrived to be greeted by her partner who said shed be there in 20 mins
...ok so I set up..30mins..40mins..go by,he then says to me she ll be 5 mins, she ll have to pay you extra for keeping you waiting ..lol...and walks away. The next thing theres a copper at the front window...asking who I am when I answer the door ..and what Im there for...she then says to me its best to pack up my stuff and go (polietly So off I trot in the mean time the girls txt me at 6.55pm to say shes on her way and has had a manic day and forgot about her nail appointmentI obviously dont have any intention on going back as I havent a clue what the issue was about, but how should I go about this ,should I txt or call the girl back, leave a card through the door with a note,or just leave it ?? Oh the joys of beeing mobile .... |

Oh my god! I would text back saying that you were at the address at the appointed time and were asked to leave by the police so they could arrest her partner and as such you are unwilling to attend that address again. Suggest she find another tech

Have to agree with susieh. It all sounds a bit of a dodgy situation and you're better off without the type of client that behaves this way. I say run for your life lol. I have had a similar experience with a client, but they were coming to me. Every app she made, she was either ridiculously late or would change her appt, keep putting me off or saying be there in 5 and then not show at all. Then the next time act as if nothing ha happened. I binned her after strike 3. X

This is exactly what I would do. This way she knows that 1) you were there for your appointment and 2) don't try to blag you with nonsense cos you were a witness to exactly what happened!! Unbelievable and a little bit scary. Jacqui xx |
